after a much-needed and very enjoyable weekend with les and watching her play field hockey, i'm back home. more grounded, feeling much lighter. i even started unpacking today, and perhaps because of the practicality with which i had to do it, and perhaps because i didn't let myself look at all the pictures or consider things for too long, i was able to do so with relative equanimity.
