Giiiiigantor! Giiiiigantor! Giiiiiigaaaaaaaantor!

a good day. a really good day, in fact. i was about to say that in terms of schoolwork it was fabulously unproductive, and i was struck by how disturbing it is that i think of my days in these terms way too much, and more often than not it's also the first way i think about the day. damn high school conditioning and self-pressurizing atmosphere of berkeley. i wouldn't change it, but i'm still a little resentful.

but yes, back to today -- it was really good: spent some time cleaning the house, which was an unusually pleasant experience, perhaps because the weather was amazing today -- like a perfect early spring day -- clear blue sky, cool air and warm sunshine -- it was enthusing, and then there was the football game up at the park, Team Biatch versus Team Flatulence (who despite claims of being winded, or running out of gas, [and yes, i made those horrific puns during the game, along with the taunt that we could score with the efficiency of Lauren's mom -- because she's German after all, and they are, as we all know, an icy and calculating people of which i am only a small fraction, and i'd say 2 for 2 is a fair estimate... but i digress] ended up winning 9-5), so big thanks to the players: Danimal, L-dogg, and the Kayster who were the growling defensive monsters that made Team Biatch, and the swifter half of CrazyLegs^2, Aly, Abby, and Kat who comprised Team Flatulence... it was great fun. and then tonight Lauren cooked us a fine dinner, and we watched Cal beat up Oregon State (Tamir and Midgley showed up... in the same game!, and Diggs let out the corn rows and displayed a sweetass mini-fro). yeehaw!

i haven't said yeehaw in a while... i remember an informational survey from early last year in which i said that i hoped the year would hold numerous yeehaws. now what constitutes a yeehaw is difficult to articulate simply, it is a surprisingly exacting task in fact, and one that i will not venture to undertake at the moment. and damn it, i'd like to avoid haughty language for the evening, and to just enjoy where i am. so here it goes:
